  • I no longer have any spiritual connection with Christianity and when I thought that all hope was lost for a religion I would enjoy and would be proud of, I stumbled upon Asatru. After all of the years of frustration and depression I now accept a religion not only of honor but a religion of nature. Thanks Steve! :)

  • @HungarianNationalist Hahaha, I'd love to see you say that to a non-christian's face XD Yeah sure... some "pagans" are attention whores, you call them confused teenagers, but those of us that don't go around flaunting our religion actually think this all through. Now, you LOOKED for a pagan video and posted offensive posts. Who's the real attention whore? You're pathetic, and deserve to burn in the Hell you believe in. At least we don't viciously attack other religions.

  • Ok well, I knew a lot of "asatrus" that were mulatos from Brazil,Mexico or more no-white countries. I think that the asatru religion is good for the white race, but a multicultural Asatru like some of them it's a crap like Wicca "a degenerate religion created by a disciple of Crowley".

I'm mediterranean, I like Asatru (racialist, of course) as the religion like a brothers (nordic brothers) but I love more the grecorroman or celtiberian heritage that my norse heritage (I'm from Spain).

  • @FenrisandOdin I read that the shamans in Finland were descended from the African Berbers. Apparently the is a strong mitachodrial connection between the two so that could be the origin of the Norse Pantheon. There is also a West African pantheon which bares striking similarities to Asatru.

  • Greetings. I was wondering if you could help me out. I am doing a high school project on pagan descrimination, and was wondering if I could interview you for said project? As a fellow member of Asatru, it would be incredible to get some imput from you about this subject. Thanks. :)

  • I dont care if some is asatru

I just espec them to know atleast one if the Scandinavien languages

  • @Zrkzach777 Is this Evening at the Improv?

  • @notmrbill Well, either side would have some Germanic descent, so Asatru/Odinism would be one, and probably the most practical. Hungary was also at least close to elements of Slavic paganism, which is similar to Odinism anyway. The pre-Christian Irish were Druidic, and that directly ties into Gaelic polytheism as well. Actually, not much is really known about the Druids, so Asatru would seem to be the logical choice.

  • @1Airb0rne1st Not specifically, but Celtic paganism--in the British Isles and throughout much of mainland Europe---merged often with Teutonic paganism. Norseman traveled all over Europe, and left their imprint. You are part Norse. However, it's not a "Scandinavian religion," as they spread far and wide.

  • @mothman64 The Clan My family belongs to, Maclean is of Norse origins, at least they claim, and are from the western isles.

  • @FlashVirus I have always considered Scots to be Picts in the north east, Norse-Gaels in the west and Hebrides, and Anglo-Brythons in the south.

  • Thank you for your wise words from both Norway and Israel. May the Alfather watch and guide you, and your heart stay true.
