Rules question, Tim. Can you freeze if you pass a card?

For example, when you had 18, let's say a 7 came up and you passed it, giving your opponent 17. Could you then freeze, since you answered the question correctly, and force your opponent to beat you?

I know it's immaterial, but I'm still curious.

You know, I'm not sure about that. My guess would be no, only because the option to freeze was only ever offered before or after you took a card for yourself.

I love how Alfonso tells them they played a good game, even when they sucked. I guess game show hosts kinda have to, but still...
