  • There is a beautiful version of this with Glenn Gould and Leonard Rose, which I prefer. The accordian is a very interesting idea, but the room muddies up the music in this recording, and the cello is too assertive in the mix, as someone else has noted.

  • Holy shit is that... an accordion? And is this... the best rendition of this song on YouTube!?!? My horizons have expanded astronomically.

  • Besides the innovation (wich I like) I think this is the best interpretation of this sonata I saw here on Twitter, Amazing!

  • Accordian??? God help us all.....It DOES sound very "authentic", though - the accordian adds a keyboard sound to the sonata (I can't believe I'm typing this). I actually enjoy listening to this piece of music - more than a minor miracle, for a life-long anti-accordianist classical musician & collector of the finest recorded music available.

I think I'm in love......a truly astonishing performance!!!

  • Thats great, but does he realize there are 2 people in the room with isntruments? I can hardly hear the accordian, he may as well not be there at all.

  • Wonderful!

  • Bravo!

  • Woww... that's fast!!!!

  • Battiston è il migliore!!!!

  • Bravi, ottima interpretazione...complimenti.
