ah i miss the days of rivalry between northside and wrhs. I know it still exists. But I left georgia in 1982. Man do I miss it sometimes.

@bobbyearl60 - Yes. Womack & Brooks were the best 1-2 combo in any backfield. Hell....I would put this backfield in today's football!!! Both of them were fast as lightning, and both ran hard, and could break tackles. Womack was very good as a blocking back, but could take an outside pitch and could run for 20 or so yards. Brooks...well, when you gave him a break in the line, he was ... GONE. He ran hard also....tough guy.

most dominant team ive ever seen against its competition...which in georgia has always been notoriously stiff in georgias largest classification.national champs 1976.Id put this team up against any high school team anytime anywhere.

@bobbyearl60 - I agree. Their offensive line, which wasn't that big, was the most well coached, best executing unit I've ever seen in high school ball. The defense was about on par with them.
