Bernie is a Bernese Mountain Dog and was rescued by BARC (Bernese Auction Rescue Coalition) from a petstore at 6 1/2 months old. He was adopted by Lisa and Rick in Dallas, TX a few months later. About a month ago Bernie started to show signs that his health was failing. Bernie diagnosed with Multifocal Neurologic Disease, which included diffused neuromuscular disorder and very probably laryngeal paralysis. Despite every effort known to man in trying to save sweet Bernie, Lisa and Rick had to make the selfless decision to help Bernie over the Rainbow Bridge on July 25, 2009. He was only 4 years and 8 months old. He is desperately missed by all those who knew him. Bernie was one of a kind. Rest in Peace sweet Bernie Bob.
I just lost mine last Saturday. Your video made me cry, again. So sad I don't know if I will ever get over it...

I love the picture of all the doggies in your backyard. Was that a birthday party? :)
