TV really does suck these days. It used to be good just like many other things, but I think it's because it's gotten so commercial is why it sucks so much.I think television used to be more focused on quality and entertainment,and that's not what it's about anymore.

MTV is full of reality shows and good cartoons hardly come on. I never even watched MTV anyway, but I miss watching the music videos.

Don't even get me started on music... Oh boy.

if you got high speed internet you should get a roku cable box for your tv. roku is a streaming player. its the size of a hockey puck. roku has over 600 channels and roku keeps adding channels everyday. you only pay for the roku once after that its free. there are some channels you have to pay for if you want but most channels are free. go to roku.com to learn more about this device.

@LedWilde That is very true. All the subliminal messages, hidden (sometimes blatant symbolism), the flashes, the brainwashing. It's horrible. I watch very little television, but if I do, it's usually CSI type of shows. Something that gets you thinking.

Hell, even if you watch TV constantly you might be able to see how society is affected by it. It is total brainwash. The less you watch, the more you see how it fucks with people.

MTV is the worst channel. Second place might be TLC.(?) Reality TV is a nightmare to watch. Hurts my brain! TV is one of my least favorite past times. It is such shit these days. The only shows I like, which I don't go out of my way to watch because I'd rather do other things than stare at the screen, are usually old shows in syndication. Not only that, TV is so propaganda driven these days. I promise, if anyway watches 2 hours or less a week, you'll start to see how society is influenced by it.

I hardly ever watch TV anymore besides Netflix, video games and all of my physical media.

The internet is going to (if not already) kill television for the majority. People, myself included are realizing that sitting through 10+ minutes of advertizements in a half hour period is getting ridiculous to the point you forget what show you were even watching by the time the constant wave of overly dramatic and very pointless ads are over. Internet has every show you want, every song/video, all the news without the biased bullshit and more...good bye television.
