  • Thank you, drumdude46. My husband is a professional and did EVERYTHING by the book, and for wahetever reason people fail to realize that in any situation concerning 'problems' in the sky, emergency or not, quick thinking and reactions are an asset. He could not have known my lungs couldn't handle it as we had never before been in that situation, it COULD have ended badly despite what people 'think', they were not there.

  • ...except when you have a diminished lung capacity and problem breathing in the first place... captain was fine. I was not.

  • Did you have pax on board at the time?

  • 2 crew/ one pax

  • was this avantair?

  • No not at all. Private company. Russell has been flying the Piaggios since before AvantAir was even thought of.

  • Where's your o2 mask? There's no excuse for hypoxia even with depressurization. That's why the FAA requires backup o2. Just in case of loss of pressurization.

  • smooth as fuck

  • Should have bought a King Air.

  • Non-pilots and anyone with less than a commercial certificate should be banned from commenting on aviation-related videos.

  • That was smooth, and right on the touchdown markers.

  • perfect!

  • why would anyone be hypoxic the pilot and copilot both have there own O2 masks and there is a pressure activated switch that auto drops the cabin mask for the passengers if the altitude in the cabin goes above a preset altitude, if memory serves me right its 14,000 feet, everyone in the aircraft should have been on oxygen.

  • @notar1 you need your multi commercial but its almost essential to go through school and have ATP or else insurance wont want to insure you

  • SO WHat type of training to fly these planes ? Like what would a company require for experience to fly Piaggio P.180 Avanti ?

  • why didnt you declare an emergency?

  • OMG thanks good you are ok. a cabin pressure failure is a real problem and dangerous. glad you were ok. by the way nice landing jeje
