I just realized that U2 ripped off this drumbeat on their first hit "I Will Follow". I used to like U2 more. I still think there are worse bands in the world, but the quality of this song next to the U2 track is a noticeable contrast.
I love Joy Division. One of the greatest, most innovative groups of the past century.
