Watch an easy tutorial on how to prepare fennel! By Riverford Organic.

Trim the leaf stems flush with the bulb and the root flush with the base.

Wash off any dirt under a tap. If damaged, or looking a little tired, remove the outer layer (especially if using raw).

Cut into half length ways. If your recipe requires chunks continue cutting into quarters, or eights if appropriate.

For smaller pieces lay each half face down and slice diagonally.
