@JDrockerDUDE : actually the only wobbly flight was the cow rocket. The air frame was a little short and the fins were quite heavy after they were covered with pvc sheeting. Look at the other rockets and you'll see they flew straight as an arrow. The cg needed to be more forward with that cow rocket.

@rocketmanbkk i have seen that a lot of your flights are a little wobbly and unstable looking, im not judging or anything, im just curious of why that is.
-
@JDrockerDUDE : I don't have a lot of space so a "J" motor is about as big as I've gone. Though, I believe that a good strong wood fin glued to PVC with super glue will be almost impossible to shear off. I've had lawn darts where the pvc sheard from the impact and the surface where the fin was applied was still intact. It was IMPOSSIBLE to remove the fin...at least that's been my experience with my projects.

@rocketmanbkk so im guessing you only go to i or j's right. anything else might rip the fins right off i have seen it happen at launches.

@JDrockerDUDE : these are not through the wall fins. Just super glued to the air frame. This rocket isn't powerful enough to warrant "through the wall" fins.
-
@rocketmanbkk are your fins simply just glued on the side? are they not through the wall?

i'm going to make a rocket that flies far and sticks to target possible???

@Natalie10864 : Just follow the series. It's all in there. If you follow the whole series you'll get a good understanding. I think video 4 or 5 show hows and whats of making the propellant.

@derekroolz : Sorry, not to sure on the dimensions. I usually draw a pattern on a piece of paper or cardboard first. Cut it out and then hold it up against the air frame to see if I like the dimensions. General rule of thumb is the bottom of the fin should be at least 1.5 times the tube so if the tube is 2" in diameter, the bottom of the fin should at least be 3.5 inches. That can vary depending on the length of the air frams.

I'm trying to make my own, and I'm not quite sure what you're using for the engine/fuel
