cherry ripes used to be the bomb when i was a wee lad. I remember biting into them back in the late 80's & early 90's, and it was just so juicy and lush. They really arnt that special anymore.. thanks for puttin this up, reminds me of the good ol days :)

Yeah... I really don't think he would regret doing WOOW... He also was in Acropalis Now for a while... And I'm pretty sure he was a The Vic College of the Arts with all those guys... Worked with him later on in the early nineties first... A production of "Hair - The Rock-Musical"

I'm a friend of Nick Carrafa who is "the guy" in the Ad. it was definitely before 1989.

I remember being disappointed they replaced the old Cherry Ripe ad with this one, which is pretty sad when you think about it.

The most memorable part for me is how he unwraps the bar. I could never replicate it.

I know for a fact that the tape recording from which this clip originated was made in 1990...plus I do have memories of watching this ad in at least 1989, so...
