NYPD, Racism, Poverty, and Systematic Bias Against The Lower Class

An article from the AP states that 80% of arrests by the NYPD are black or hispanic. This appears to be systematic bias that is indicative of both racial and class discrimination. The gilded age has made our society indifferent to the plight of the lower classes and many people have been left behind to fend for themselves. Systematic bias is unacceptable.

I hear everything you're saying. It's a weird thing the relationship between the races. Blacks in particular. With slavery to the leading of the Civil Rights movement, to the way black culture as sort of taken over the world. You'd think blacks would be in a better position in society.

Let's cut out this victim mentality. People need to stop blaming others for their problems. Hard work and God damn discipline is the answer. And maybe blacks and other minorities wouldn't get stopped so much if they quit acting like such thugs when they're out in the streets. Stop the banging, drug dealing, and loitering. And yes, whites commit plenty of crimes too, but do it more secretively. (A drug deal in their parent's basement as opposed to a street corner.)

Exactly! I've always said by the time the people in power gives us something they already have plans on how to use it against us, and it usually works. That's why, as happy as I am to see Obama in office I worry.

That is the thing the dominant race(whites) will only allow black people to go so far. Look back in history where blacks have made strides just to be pushed back by the white race.
