Basically my thoughts on the new show coming out in May on Cartoon Network

I do not own the clips used here. Everything Looney Tunes, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Animanics belong to Warner Bros Studios.

Special thanks for Doug "Nostalgia Critic" Walker and molderplz for the Looney Tune Show clips used here.

  • sorry to burn you but the nostagia critic (doug walker) likes the new looney tunes show.

  • @pintotoons Really? I didn't say he would hate it, I just joking about how he would react seeing Yosemite Sam as a rapping baby.

  • Great review dude. I agree; Tiny Toons and Animaniacs should be reused or at least have a few cameos here and there. But otherwise, I can't really say too much about the new Looney Tunes show as of now since it hasn't been released yet. But hopefully it'll be a good show. I'm looking forward to it.

  • @MDthornton83 They just aired the first episode and they're reairing throughout various times for most of the week. So far, it's pretty decent, they made Duffy sort of a pile-up of his classic zenny oblivious self while still being the egostical loser foil to Bugs... the only thing that makes the episode slightly bad is the part where they have Elmer Fudd singing about his love for a grill-cheese sandwhich...

  • My understanding is that they can't use any of the Tiny Toons or Animaniacs characters without cutting a deal first with Spielberg, since he is part owner of all that property.

I've got to say the new Lola is great in my book. Ironically she's the funniest and most "looney" character to appear so far. She stole the show.

  • The Looney Tunes Show, i am not really looking forward too. Mainly because of bugs' new appearance and the fact that he acts more like a normal person now. Like in the "Ghost Busted" clip it showed bugs getting scared, though bugs usually doesn't have that kind of expression on his face. And his nose is big enough to be seen now. Bugs style was always the same sense the 1950s. And now they decide to change it? I got used to his old style since i first saw him in 2001. This 2011 bugs just sucks.

  • @pintotoons Where did you find this out?

  • AT LEAST they continued animation on the Looney Tunes characters.

  • @pintotoons nobody's perfect

  • YEAH NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT HU

  • In my humble opinion they should just re-run Tint toons and Animaniacs.

  • @SilverZeo88 Yeah, but he did that in a funny matter. In this cartoon when hes scared, hes scared. And your referring to his 1940-1943 Bugs Bunny.
