Dude, he was a member of EPA not Greenpeace. His actions while justified jobwise were just as illegal as what he accused the GB of doing. First and foremost, while props to him for having a cop and a Con Ed guy on his side, he should have let the shut down occur by Egon who probably had safety precautions to make sure that during a power outage the grid would keep the ghosts at bay. Or at least have subtle proof that they are real by letting one or two escape rendering the warrant N/V
