Mr. Las Vegas Wayne Newton came to PNE 2010 to perform a concert and he put on a Vegas-style show complete with blues and gospel singers with himself showing the many musical talents that had made him such a fans favorite over a 40+ years career. Newton sang his signature song Danke Schoen, Lionel Richie's Lady and some old-time rock and roll tunes such as Chuck Berry's Go Johnny Go and little bit of Jerry Lee Lewis's classic Great Balls of Fire with himself on the piano. He picked the guitar and banjo and played the violin like a bluegrass fiddler would. Under a cloudy sky that forecasted for rain which did came late into his concert. Not pouring down, but enough to get many in the audience wet and left the PNE fairgrounds a bit earlier than they would have liked. [Produced by Ray Van Eng] www.vancouver21.com

  • A lovely good video capture of his current The Wayne Newton Show. I was at the AZ 100 Years celebration of the Anniversary of Arizona statehood, Monday February 14th, 2012. Same great show. though I only had my pocket Nikon and my iPhone to capture his same show there. He still rocks, in my take. He truly is Mr. Entertainer as I see it. That is page one in my book. Mike : )

  • this is not good:(

  • His voice is shot, that was painful, he's not singing in the right key....

  • I first saw Wayne Newton perform live on my 21st birthday. Next year, it will mark 30 years. I was nuts about him then, and nuts about him now. He makes an honest effort.......he is one of the hardest working individuals in a very difficult business. He was one of the first people nice to me. Wayne, love ya and always will. Haters, don't bad mouth him in front of me. Ever

  • How sad!!!! Theres a point when you have to say its time to call it quits. I love Wayne Newton. And will always think of him as my idol. But wayne Its time..............

  • R.I.P Wayne Newton's voice.
