One of the most desirable stretches of real estate in Africa is located in Cape Town; running south, away from the bustle of the busy city bowl. The Atlantic Seaboard is balanced on the sea's edge and because it is protected from the prevailing South Easter by the Table Mountain range, it is a popular, idyllic summer destination.

The Atlantic Seaboard extends all the way from the lighthouse at Mouille Point to the dramatic Witch's Finger of cliff and rock jutting finally into the ocean at Cape Point. Extending more than 50 km, as it does by road, it is not surprising that many visitors who are pressed for time choose to survey the spectacle by helicopter.

The best way to enjoy the Atlantic Seaboard is by car or bike, as you will undoubtedly want to stop frequently to take in the sights. Setting out from the northern extremity at Mouille Point, the road hugs the coastline around Three Anchor Bay, past Sea Point and Bantry Bay to Clifton's four famous Blue Flag beaches.
