This is my first tech review. It's of a netbook, the Asus Eee Pc 1015b model. I'm not sure how many of these I'll be doing since I don't buy tech gadgets that often.

  • how's the temperature ? is the netbook getting hot under heavy load ?

  • @idkfaPL It gets a little warm, but nothing compared to what my HP did.

  • Specs?

  • @bkristof910 I just changed the description with a link to the full specifications. :)

  • hey, i've read somewhere that the fan on this model is quite noisy... can you comment on this please?

  • @krosser2123 It can be at times, but it's nothing compared to my previous laptop, so I don't really mind, lol.

  • @alexkrat92 I have bought mine also for 250eur(in Serbia) and what can I say...it freezes all the time(overheat) under xp or win 7...at first I tought it was a hardware problem but when i returned it to store and took another one it was the same fucking thing...this may mean nothing to you but i just want to mention if you want to "do some buisiness" by buy a regular notebook...

  • @PaleoSteno what is the difference between asus Eee PC 1015b and Asus Eee PC 1015bx ?

  • i don't understand one thing...what is the ''catch'' with this netbock? it sounds to good to have Radeon HD 6250...and the processor is just C50 AMD 1ghz (amd are notorious for heating fast),in my country is 250E that means 300 $...does it heat fast, freezes or shut down by itself ??? im just asking because i am a noob and i am intending to buy one soon...and one more thing what the ''fusion'' caracteristic means? anyway sorry for my bad english grm.

  • Wow.... I had a similar HP Pavillion laptop from the same year. It also overheated--it won't even turn on anymore. $1100 down the drain for me.

I made sure my next computer was not HP, and I don't think it ever will be again.

  • @highdownhybrid No way man, those are serious artifacts that you can't simply resolder connections. The internal circuits of the GPU are pretty much dead.

  • @PaleoSteno thanks

  • dude first problem, why in the world do you have it on the floor?
