Watch in amazement as Deb Weigel's first grader leads an unedited lesson on brain structure ... using a host of Whole Brain Teaching techniques! Note class-yes, teach-okay, hands and eyes, mirror and the marvelous lesson scaffolding in which small points are added at each step to create a remarkably complex whole. Finally, the addition of critical thinking questions in which students must generate their own answers makes a powerfully complete lesson. • Um, I'm a bit late to this party, but I have to say that these kids are learning things in first grade that I didn't learn until at least middle school. Bravo to that teacher!

  • Love this! Proof that learning is fun! Ashtyn loves school and always looks forward to returning the following day! Thank you Mrs. Weigel

  • an excellent video for putting all of the great parts of WBT together in action.
