  • I'm 53. Trust me, kids, Art is always alive, and most of the stuff on the radio is always shit. You think this is what was on the radio in 1995? Nope. What was on the radio in 1995? The fucking Macarena. Actually, the macarena was 96; I don't have a clue what was on the radio in 1995, but I'm sure it was something just as lame.

There's always gfood music. You always have to look for it.

  • It needs more cowbell.

  • @ugglybabee I remember hearing that shit coming from one of the neighbors cars at night time, 96 the good old days as a kid how life turns to shit as you get older the 90's were the last times of good TV and bands that were actually being noticed but I can never remember hearing anything good on the radio except R.E.M. and maybe the police, it was also that god awful time of the spice girls also so not that good lol

  • I know they're from Minneapolis, but they give off such a "Portland" vibe to me. Portland is filled with girls who look like this, that whole 60s bohemian vibe.

  • @ugglybabee Youre right - the good stuff almost never finds its way to the radio.

  • @ugglybabee

there was a lot of awesome music on the radio in the 1995: nirvana, stone temple pilots, metallica, pearl jam, smashing pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, AC DC, Guns and Roses...I don't know what station you were listening to. you must not have been looking that hard.

  • i saw them when they were touring in support of this album. they played a place in Hoboken, NJ, with the Dickies and Ash. the place was full of riot grrl twats, old school punks, and hipster fags. Kat just broke up woth her boyfriend, had the flu, and still rocked shit. the grrls were calling her a bitch because they wouldn't play "Bruise Violet". like i said, riot grrl twats. they were also complaining because there was a pit area, and the boys were using it. TWATS.

  • Yeah see that's why I created the facebook page "Spread the word of good newer grunge bands" I've posted more than anybody, but tons of people have shown me and tons of others TONS of good new bands. I think the count is over 150 now, and it's only been up for a few months. And I'm trying to practice guitar in order to be able to form a band that plays good music.

  • Also instead of complaining about how theres no good music shouldn't you just get out there and play what you consider to be good music???

  • @cccmanuel haha i actually listened to seven year bitch before babes, don't get me wrong, both singers are amazing, but i like babes sound better you know?
