Walking and Slipping in Boat Shoes

The first video I did four years ago was a candid of a guy walking in slippers with the backs folded down. On this one, it's deja vu all over again;)

This guy was walking in front of me. Both his tan boat shoes were loose, but the left one was untied, and I had a perfect rear view of his black-socked heel slipping out of it with every step.

At the crosswalk, he had to stop, and for a few seconds he did some shoeplay. I loved the sound of those loose boat shoes scuffing on the concrete and then the granite subway floor.

I did wonder why he didn't just stop and tie his shoe. Maybe he gets the same rush out of shoe-slipping as I did watching him. Maybe it was just more comfortable. Anyway, enjoy.
