Review - Katawa Shoujo

I don't normally make reviews and I doubt I'll make any after this, but I felt a formal video review would be the best way to explain KS to those who ask me about it, particularly on the aspect of morality.

@TheDeltaXQ Weeelll... I'm a big sucker for gushy romance (at least, apparently I am) so Lilly was my favorite. Then they went Hanako, Emi, Rin, and Shizune. Hated Shizune. With a passion.

@Nowzies Thanks for respecting my beliefs. As a matter of fact, my faith DOES forbid pornography, which is why I wanted to focus so much of the review on how this game is not a porn game (at least if you turn off the adult content). I just wanted to make sure that people in a position like mine, who have absolutely no interest in porn and want to avoid it completely, understand that KS is still worth playing.

I think my only grievance with this review is with turning off the "adult content". While I respect your beliefs, turning them off truly takes something special away from the VN. While a couple scenes fall flat, and at least one is for laughs, you get to see the characters at their most intimate moments and it truly adds to the emotional investment. I'm not even sure I could call the scenes "pornography", as they are very tastefully done and not very graphic. Otherwise, good review.

You know, I originally downloaded this game for "fapping" material. Then I fell in love with Lilly, literally, in love, and suddenly I had no desire to look at porn at all.

I suppose that's a positive effect, can't say I enjoyed watching porn, only did it to pass the time.
