If only Federer could play this way... :( cannot expect him to play the way he used to play in 2007 .. But whatever it may be ...Roger is the best and will be best forever.. :)

Once Federer gets it to Gonzo's backhand its over.

Gonzo simply wasn't good enough, Fed made minced meat out of him. Gonzo's slice backhand was definitely a big weakness, apparently he's only able to hit a flat backhand when perfectly positioned. Obviously, one can't win against Fed when one entire side is ineffectual for creating pressure let alone winners. I guess the moral is: one good forehand does not make a slam-winner.

I remember this tournament because gonzalez was beating everyone using the strange combination of that use forehand and then that cake slice but it didn't trouble federer at all
