This is my review of the San Francisco Giants
Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper Bobblehead.

It comes from my personal collection. It is "Not For Sale"!

Rare Content Correction! (10/15/09)
I was recently informed that this is not the worlds first announcer bobblehead as I was lead to believe in my research. The Brewers gave away a Bob Uecker bobblehead on July 29th 2001, which pre-dates this one by a whole year! Oh well. rather be right than wrong.

It's still historically significant for two reasons.
1) first double bobblehead.
2) first talking bobblehead.

Kruk says "Grab some pine meat"

Kuip says "Bonds hit one high.
He hits it deep. It's outta here!"

Thanks for watching! Go Giants!

  • For those of you have requested extra information. The battery is located on the back of the white sound module. After you un-glue the table from the base, you will have to un-glue the sound module off the table as well to get access to the battery. You will need three AG-13 size batteries. Please buy them before taking everything apart. If no sound is heard, check the wires and make sure all the terminals are still soldered to their terminals. If you get stuck, email me. Good luck!

  • Only about 2000-300 were ever made, so combine rarity with popularity and you get one very expensive collectable Bobblehead. Good luck finding it. Go Giants!

  • Finally got up the nerve to take mine apart, luckily the batteries did the trick! Thanks, wish the voices were as good as the Lon Simmons and Renel bobbles though.

  • Glad I could help. If anyone else wants to try this repair, you might want to use a hair dryer to warm up the glue joint a little before prying off the table. Should make it easier to do and leave a cleaner surface finish.

  • haha i was just kidding about the trade but yea man i'll check out ebay for these knucklehead bobble heads... thanks

  • Good luck with finding it!
