In this demonstration I am demonstrating rubbing alcohol boils at a lower temperature compared to water. The boiling temperature of 91% rubbing alcohol is similar to the boiling point of gasoline.

  • I think I can see where you are going with this peter, very interesting stuff, but it is going to be a complex situation to amalgamate so many different fuels in to one purpose peter, I will watch your work now to see a conclusion, remember “please Peter”…. That these fumes gather in low workshop areas, don’t be getting in to trouble there, I want to see more videos…. OK… LOL… Nice 1 peter.

  • Grain alcohol boils at 172.4 F.

    Alcohol - methyl (methyl alcohol, wood alcohol, wood naphtha or wood spirits) CH3OH boils at 151 F

    Acetone CH3COCH3 133F

    Jet Fuel (kerosene) - 325F

    Petrol - 203 F

    Petroleum 410F
