or try from iMovie Share►Exporting using quicktime. name your project/pick a folder. Click "Options" in "Setting►Compression type► choose "H.264". set quality to "BEST" than "size►dimensions:" choose 1280X720 HD. Dont touch anything else. Click " Ok & Save" your video should end with .MOV filename extension. this procedure doesn't help if your video is in low quality.

drag and drop your video on youtube's website http://upload.youtube.com/my_videos_upload dont use quicktime or any third party application to upload to youtube.

your upload make take from 10 - 30 mins on a 5 mins video or even longer. its all depends on your internet connection.

always works for me, check it out.

  • i saved as a quicktime file, how do i upload? I can open it as a quicktime but i cant upload to youtube! where is the option?

  • @MumfordAirsoft open youtube page, click on the upload link and drag & drop your video on that page and just wait until it finish uploading/processing or until it says 100% done.

  • No i only have the option of 360p or 240p, even though I recorded the clips with a HD PVR. An example of the quality is on my channel.

  • @ThreedyceProductions TRY: from iMovie Share>Exporting using quicktime. name your project/pick a folder. Click "Options" in "Setting>Compression type> choose "H.264". set quality to "BEST" than "size>dimensions:" choose 1280X720 HD. Dont touch anything else. Click " Ok & Save" your video should end with .MOV filename extension. this procedure doesn't help if your video kinda blurry. let me know what you get.

  • @Coxfame I've done everything you said and the file has the .mov filename extension. When i play the video in Quicktime the quality is great but it still does the same glitchy thing as the video on my channel.

  • @ThreedyceProductions drag and drop your video on youtube's website "/my_videos_upload" dont use quicktime or any third party application.
