@jewelsthomas You don't seem to realize that discrimination runs deep. There's still people who'll turn away African Americans or other minority groups because of racism. As long as they have signs that state that the owner can turn away anyone they please, they can't get into trouble for discrimination.

@TheEkeymizume it is not racism..travellers are pretty rough..they tend to screw you over..checks bounce back..thay steal..most of them are illiterate have low class job and can still aford weddings like this...

P.S: I'm a full-time musician w/ two performance degrees and aside from teaching 30 private students, teaching after-school music programs and managing a church choir I also perform weddings. Sounds cruel, but I'm in it for the money when it comes to a wedding. I don't care who you are, I sing my heart out for every wedding b/c it's better than working an office job. Perhaps I should move over the UK and friend the Travellers, I'd be their wedding singer of choice, no questions asked. :)

Again, I'm not judging reasons for issues w/ Travellers or not having them, but cancelling on a person based on their ethnicity in the US like this would be massive plea for a giant lawsuit. In most areas of law and government, I tend to respect the UK over our laws here but in the case of the Travellers or other minorities which face negative stereotypes, we actually have a better system in place here.
