Canada's first lady of the bass Jodi Proznick seen here in duo with Greg Clayton. Jodi was an education student and had a "student" bass but already showed great potential. Shortly after this gig she joined my group, got a professional quality bass and worked 3 to 5 nights a week with my trio for several years during which she blossomed into a wonderful swinging bassist. When she left Montreal for her hometown of Vancouver I was sad to see her go. She always adds great energy and enthusiasm to the stage.
I dig this Greg! Swinging!!!

oh man I had the pleasure of meeting both her father and her personally. Both were adjudicators for my school jazz band 2 months ago. I hear she is a great mother. Is she going to be leaving the jazz scene? It's what I heard.
A person inspired by Jodi

NIce! I enjoy your improvs, just enough outside to be adventurous, but not so far out as to leave the coolness behind. Once again, I'm surprised I've not heard you before. Just subscribed to your channel m'man, I hope you put up some new stuff soon, too. Thanks for this, and you're right, Jodi's definitely got it all happening. Solid.
