Right-handed conguero playing left-hand Tumbao, right-hand cascara, while keeping time (1&3) with left foot on large cowbell and 2/3 Son Clave with right foot on jam block. During 'six eight' parts, left foot plays standard 6/8 cascara pattern, and right foot plays a 4-measure 'Clave substitution pattern', while hands play a 6/8 pattern semi-tumbao style. There is a short conga solo where the left foot keeps time on hi-hat and large cowbell.

  • @texasidiot47 Thanks very much! Yes, music is my only job, and conga is my main thing. I also play piano, but mainly rhythm and chord stuff, and as a writing tool. You are probably better than you realize. Keep on drumming!!!

  • Thank you my friend!
