"Mom, I'm fine," she said just as she hugged her. "How are you guys?"

"We're great. We've missed you so much though Miles," she replied.

"I've missed you guys too!" Before she could continue on, another figure stepped out of the house.

"Selena !" Miley squealed.

"Mileyyyy!" They laughed as they ran into eachother, embracing in a warm hug.

"What are you doing here?" Miley asked.

"I live here now," she said, grinning.

"You moved in with my family?!" she asked, excited.

"Yeup. I got a job from around here and it pays so well. Your mom's idea was that she would get a house over here and I come stay with you guys," Selena exclaimed while the smile remained on her face.

"That's awesome!"

"I know," she said giggling. "So how's your project going on in Paris?" she asked absent-mindedly.

"I told you, it's a VACATION."

"Liar. I went on this French site to see what was going on over there and your face was the first thing I saw. So I hear my little Miley is into fashion design now. She's starting her own clothing line. Miles and Miles of Smiles is the theme right now I guess," Selena informed Miley and her family. She sighed, giving up.

"Miley! You didn't tell me!" her mom replied shocked.

"Me either!" Joe jumped in.

"Sorry guys. I didn't want you guys to blow this up into some big deal like you usually do. I didn't want you to get your hopes to high and if I didn't make it, you all would be crushed.. more than I would've been," she responded to them.

"You know what, we're happy for you and we understand," Selena chimmed in, bringing the mood down.

"That was supposed to be my surprise but someone had to make it into a big dramatic scene."

"That would be me," Selena joked, raising one arm with her head hanging, pretending she was guilty. They laughed.

"Alright, let's head inside and get you settled in," Miley's mom says as she took Miley's things and walked inside with the rest of them.

"Welcome home baby girl," Joe said as they entered the deluxe, comfy home. Miley's smile grew.

[The next day]
"Morning everyone," Miley said, yawning as she walked into the kitchen and sat on the island.

"Morning sweety," her mom said from behind the newspaper, munching on toast.

"Morning. What do you want for breakfast?" Joe asked.

"uuuh .. la tartine, merci," she replied in French, causing all three to turn their heads to her. "That's another word for toast and butter guys."

"You could've just spoke English, Selena joked.

"Nah. French is waaay more fun," she responded, grabbing the piece of toast from Joe and hopping off the counter. "So what are the plans for today?"

"Laundry," said Momma Cyrus from behind the paper.

"9 hour shift then meeting up with Joe and our little weddind crew," Selena said.

"And you're coming with me," Joe responded. "We're gonna go meet my beautiful fiance."

"As of now," she added in.

"Sure. As of now.." he said. "Until we get married," he mumbled to himself.
