how can you argue metaphysics when everything is subjective? every truth is relevant and can be countered. its very individual and personal

Value is gained and truth discovered by experiencing, not arguing. The intelect can be effective as a guide and initiator, but not as a leader -- evolution/growth/ success in the big picture is gained at the being level, not the intellectual level.

Not so HUGE, in fact , I would say it is a rather small -- almost trivially obvious that our individual and collective existence (as well as the larger reality) has purpose as opposed to the purposelessness of determinism. Purpose implies goals. See the discussion on Free will in Book 2, chapter 11 for the argument pertinent to individual and collective goals within our local reality. (books are available for free on Google Books). Our goals derive from the larger system.

@derekf08 Haha, as someone who isn't so interested in this kind of stuff, that is a very good idea and outlook on life. However, know that if you come into contradiction with something or start to develop deeper and more philisophical ideas, come back to take a look. Such talks about metaphysics and the way of the mind can help humans establish truth and conciousness that lays outside of religious beliefs since it is a way of science. ^_^ Very nice comment indeed, live and learn.
