Conveying such a message wearing a suit and tie ? lol

I agree with you, a lot of celebrities keep all of the money for themselves and don't even realize that people are suffering, but Hugh does support this charity and PLENTY of others fighting poverty and AIDS. He recently launched his own charity helping farmers in developing countries too.

WOW, he's not singling out any financial classes, he's part of this charity too and supports many others. He didn't make this video either. Nobody forces you to watch movies either.

i had lived in poverty while i was doing my undergraduate sociology degree. believe me, it is important to have such experience (though through this kind of experimental method it would be artificial). through experience one can has understanding by which one can has empathy. and from empathy comes action. (well, now i lived just a little above the line, though)
i even want to write a sociological book of poverty... ha!

It's true tough...that if all the celebrities who make ads like this and support these causes just donated a million dollars of their money EACH (from the $20 million they get for a film) and pooled all that together then there would be no more starvation in the world. How about doing that, instead of these meaningless and pointless little experiments.

Wow, I've been rising to this challenge for most of my college career, and I didn't even know it.

Coming from a man who just banked 20 mill for Wolverine this ad is a bit rich.
-
Nice zero-sum philosophy asshole. I usually don't comment like this but I'm sick of millionares lecturing ME about having too much. Why don't you give me $1.50 for damages from watching Wolverine Origins.

I just did this.
But, I just called it being a student.
@jkessler410 I don't think it is asking people to stop buying food products, I think he is doing his part and using his voice to make people aware of some serious issues in our world...we can all do something to help people less fortunate. Its not about money, its about changing perspectives! cynicism is dead, love is the movement!
