The reason healthcare professionals get paid what they do is because they go through rigorous training and schooling to get certified as a doctor. You are absolutely wrong about the quality improving if their pay goes down. If the pay goes down, bright, ambitious young people will spring towards a different profession and we will have the dregs left in the hospitals. Ask post-communist Europe.

So three months after this bill passed, my employer had to go shopping for insurance cuz our carrier's rates were going so crazy high. We got to choose but it sucked & keeps on suckin'. Not only the monthly rates go up considerably, but our deductible went up 400%. To ice the cake, they cover so much less than before. I overpay for insurance & still can't go to the dentist, get new glasses...Notice this hasn't even gone into law yet? but the prices have...This may be good for you, but not for me
