Celestial Messenger - Eagles in the City 2009

A & A Contract Customs Brokers Ltd., would like to officially welcome Celestial Messenger, one of the Eagles in the City to her new home at the Pacific Highway Border Crossing in South Surrey.

"Eagles in the City" is a public arts project that supports the BC Lions Society for Children with Disabilities. Local artists, in partnership with sponsoring individuals or organizations, create a unique design and apply it to the surface of a 7 ½ foot custom formed fiberglass Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle becomes the artist's canvas. Once the work is complete, the Bald Eagles are displayed in prominent public spaces around participating cities. A Bald Eagle Flight Path Map is available at A & A Contract Customs Brokers South Surrey office, showing the location, sponsor and artist of every bald eagle in the Lower Mainland. The A & A Contract Customs Brokers sponsored eagle was named, designed and painted by acclaimed Canadian Artist, Mrs. Barbara Roden.

A & A Contract Customs Brokers President, Mr. Graham Robins Jr. is thrilled about the arrival of Celestial Messenger and has done his best to make the eagle feel comfortable at her new home outside A & A's South Surrey office. All Canadians and US visitors entering Canada through this port of entry will be welcomed to Canada by Celestial Messenger, the Bald Eagle. The Bald Eagle makes a statement of strength, striking appearance, grace and most importantly, it represents freedom. Said Robins.
