I saw The Who in the first time in '66 and didn't hear this song again until just last year and all that time I remembered it being a great tune. It still is! But is it on the English release of Sell Out? It certainly isn't on the American release.

Because of the lines "One day we will be wed," "It's a long way home but love's so warm" and "Each time I do it I feel so down and out" I always thought it was about a guy who has sex with his girl friend but she kicks him out afterwards instead of letting him sleep overnight, so he's taking a taxi home again. By the way, extreme Who fans used to trade bootleg reel-to-reel tapes of songs like this, "Jaguar" and "I'm a Man" all through the '70s and '80s before they finally came out on reissues.
