@fuzzyroes Why? This was in the days where ALL of DiC's work was done by the Japanese Studios. The worst days for DiC were when Tetsuo Katayama (their former overseas animation director) left DiC in 1986 and decided to have crappy Korean studios to do the overseas animation starting in 1988.

Cause it seemed to me the look of Claw was pretty inconsistent to the look of all the other characters on the show. As if it was designed by totally different animators or something.
-
@TherealRNO Yeah but that whole Dr. Claw portrayal in 92-93 was pretty cheap in my opinion. They just through an image together on the spot to profit on the toys.
Does anyone know if the toy design was actually created by the people who came up with the design and drawings of the original characters or not?

@EnjiBEARatsu Meh this ending looks sorta crappy. Bad animation. Just look at those vehicles lol.

@SegaTheGamer He originally had a moustache, but MGM threatened to sue DiC if they didn't remove it because he looked too much like Inspector Clouseau. So they got rid of it.
-
@EnjiBEARatsu It makes Gadget look more competent, just unlucky, and I guess that's not what they wanted?

DICK

@SegaTheGamer He had it for only episode one. However, MGM would strictly sue DiC and told DiC to remove the moustache. And you know what, the did.

The DiC Logo used in 2003.

Why the hell does Gadget have a moustache? Don't remember that from the videos I watched as a kid. XD

I really wonder why they just didn't reanimate this w/o the mustache, it's nicely done, and much better then the credits the show ended up with.
It also would've saved myself, and I'm sure many other kids from thinking the Chief was Dr. Claw the whole time.
