As requested by a fan here is a video of the fastest way to get heirlooms on a level 85 character! Helmet, cape, chest and shoulders.
Buy - helm and cape
Honor - Shoulders/weapons
Justice - Chest/Trinkets

@TheTr1ckshots You can't transfer heirlooms across accounts, but you can transfer heirlooms from horde to alliance now! Go to a mailbox and send it to the character you want, doesn't matter if it's horde or alliance! HAppy new years to you too mate!

@takatoekoe Yea they have helm and cloak, and it costs gold for them + you need to be honored with your guild.
