Frances Awe's African Drumming class at Pasadena City College, Fall 2010 semester on December 13. "Ekaabo se daa daa le de" Nigerian for "Hello, how are you and hope all is well". Met a lot of great people who took a leap in learning the beauty of African Drumming and Dancing. Prior to this segment, each member meditated in the entrance hallway and shared a single word that will carry us through the event. My word was: "Conquer." Introduction by Francis Awe's spouse: Omowale Orisayomi. Performance begins at 3:40. Part 1 of 4.

Lyrics:
Ile gbogbo ile Orisa. (4xs)
Orisa nla lo mu le wa a ye o.
Ile gbogbo ile Orisa.

Translation:
All lands belong to God.
It is the Great God that brought the land to the world.
All lands belong to God.

Thanks for viewing part of the performance.
