What is flash photography? How do you define it? How do I use it? What limitations are there for the built in camera's flash? I go over each of these questions in this video.

  • Should I use the hot-shoe cover when I have no flash attached?

  • @Zaneathankid no a major issue in my mind, maybe if your out in the weather but honestly never used one on any of mine. Im sure it is there for a reason thought.

  • Good video and good information, but I would have liked to see what you talked about in practice with some examples of the results. I think that would have strengthened your video. Maybe an extended video on this topic would be in order.

  • what exactly do you mean when you say "below" 1/200 of a second shutter speed? does that mean I should use a shutter speed faster than 1/200 or slower than 1/200?

  • Excellent Video Greg!! A little correction on the retinal diseases you were mentioning....It's Retinoblastoma which for the most part is a tumor inside the eye. As for the other disease it is Coats disease can have similar presentation of Retinoblastoma but not cancerous. I do retinal angiography and I'm really impressed you brought that up in this tutorial. Great job again!!
