Tenebrae is a mod which brings Quake I to XXI century :) Please, do not complain about my playing skills, I just want to show you great graphics.

I think it WAS the freakiest myself! all the HP Lovecraft style elements gave it a very weird otherworldly feel, especially juxtapositioned with the medieval and technological elements. I highly recomend the addon QUOTH for Quake1, it lovecrafts it up even more, more atmosphere and weirdness too :)

ahhh nostalgia, the good ole days were you had no hands and never needed to reload :D i used to play on a modded online server multiplayer alllllllllllllll day long, like 8 or 9 years ago

@skullstrider That's high resolution textures on the normal low resolution models, which is nice, but not as nice.
The problem is the models aren't exactly data driven so changing them requires more than hacking the mod files. You've got to actually hack the source code.

@cymonsgames its already been made, search, "rygel's quake" and it should be the first result. you can also view my video to get a little example of what the pack looks like.

Did you use anything else?? I have the tenebrae mod and it does'nt look as detailed as youts?? Thanks in advance

Tenebrae with special textures downloaded somewhere. Also I messed with options a little making it display more lights
