@talopi no stop sign, but if you cut across like he did you gotta make sure there arent cars coming either way

I ran this route today and ran into the same problem...except with a mini van instead of a grand marquis

Ahhh ok then you know about them. :) Yea I owned a Fiero and felt like I was king of the road as far as handling. Only thing people told me to watch out for was those dreaded Miatas! heheh

The only time I've seen speedtraps on that part of loch raven were towards the end of the month and at night. They know that people are more likely to go faster at around 9:00pm at night when there is little to no traffic so they sit there in the dark waiting. There is usually 2-3 cop cars sitting on the road around that time so be careful.

Nice video, and nice M edition. I'm not sure if you're practicing for autocross or not, but I'd keep the driving practice slow until nighttime - no pedestrians/bikers, and any cars are instantly visible via headlights. Keep driving though - that miata can do more than 13mph around that snake :)
Btw - I thought you didn't have to stop at the corner of providence while you're on loch raven. Did they put up a new stop sign that I didn't notice?
That's a Mercury Grand Marquis, not a Crown Vic.
You WERE joking about being able to stay up with it though right? I own a Crown Vic and while it DOES handle well for its size and weight I would hope a Miata handles better. lol

Yeah, it's a joke. I owned a Crown Vic P71 for a few years, and it handles pretty well with the police suspension, but it ain't a Miata.
