@MrForapurpose we'll see if that goes through or not though....L'oreal and a few other companies are raising a stink about it.

@veggiebeauty :) Yes, there are many great companies, and I believe what you're doing is a really good thing as so many people are unaware that companies they may buy from test on animals. I'd do the same as you (in relation to picking the animal over the cosmetic!) because I think animal testing for cosmetics is just plain wrong; especially as there are other ways to check the safety of products we use.

U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E AND HORRIFIC.........I had heard about this years ago but never knew how horrible it was until watching these videos......question is should I brush my teeth with that particular toothpaste now... or use that particular laundry soap, or use that particular shampoo or cologne, hair gel , or shaving product....guess not anymore....

I agree that animal testing for cosmetics is wrong, and I buy cruelty free products, and yes, absolutely, we don't need cosmetics to survive unlike medicine... but cosmetics are important for humans so we can feel GOOD about ourselves... there's so many people out there who rely on cosmetics so they can feel good about themselves, especially teenage girls (in my opinion). I don't think cosmetics are all 'aesthetic' and 'purely fun'; I believe they help people feel better about themselves too.

@veggiebeauty They loved it. Thank you soo much. I even had a few people coming up to me after with questions about what brands don't test, how do I go cruelty free, ect.. . It was really cool. Thanks for the help :) <3
(I wasn't trying to critisise your video or anything btw, you've done a really good job here, and I'm learning much more about what actually happens to the animals tested on. It's sad. :( )

@stardazzleabbi3 I understand what you are saying, they do help with cofidience and I love makeup just as much as the next person...but if it comes between taking the life of an animal and wearing makeup, I'd pick the animal. What I'm trying to say is that there are so many wonderful, natural cosmetics out there, there is no need to test at all anymore. So we can look and feel great and end the suffering of animals. Its win/win. My skin loves my natural beauty products so much better anyway.

Does Revlon test?
footballchic121 3 months ago
@footballchic121 I've seen conflicting info on revlon in my research of the company so I cannot gurantee that they are truly a cruelty-free company. Also, I've emailed them my form letter several times and never got a response back, which usually indicates that a company is hiding something.
