can you tell me where the EB switch is, that activates the parking light on the DASH. My light won't turn off. I'm purty sure that the brake is released fully, since the car easily moves when I push it.

I went to the yard and got a the lever arm/handle part. Went to put it on and realized I have no tension on my emergency brake. It basically is stuck in the "down" position. What do I do to get the brake to engage?

It's my wifes car..I never drive it. She told me her emergency handle button came off. I got a new one and was going to replace it and realized there was no tension on the cable. I guess it was just a coincidence that her handle button came off and her cable snapped/loosened up.
I'm not exactly sure if it HAS been working recently. I asked if she heard clicks when she raised the handle. She doesn't remember.
I'm guessing the cable needs to be replaced?
