Personally, I like the Stanley Kubrick movie the best. And I like the Timberline Lodge as the Overlook Hotel over the Stanley, even though the Stanley is a beautiful hotel.

i went on a tour on sunday and had lunch there and when the tour guide was talking about room 217 i was closest to the door and i heard somthing creeking. it might hav been the guests who were staying there but id think anyone was in there. scary. im gonna stay there this halloween.

This is one of the things that my fascination with the movie "The Shining" has caused me much contradictory opinion with others. All they see is a scary movie that psychically disturbs them, when I perceive the great atmosphere and stupendous scenic grandeur of the setting.

i just went to the stanley hotel yesterday and snuck up to the 4th floor and when i was standing by room 422 the door started shaking and as soon as i took a picture it stoped and another door down the hall started shaking

it is really creepy going there, but it deffinitly is beautiful, and even though people have had paranormal experiences and what not, i actually havent had any experiences, other than mist in pics and noises. but thats it

That is one of the songs off the movie The Shining by Stephen King.
Thought it fit, since this is the hotel that King got his inspiration for the book from.

Chris is a very sweet guy... all of the celebs we had out there were great. You should really try to get out to one of the next trips that DarknessRadio is doing... the trips are such a blast!!! :)
