It always upsets me to see kittens. Why? Most will have a very unhappy ending in the dog pound. As little as 5% get adopted out on the average. Most will throw them out on the streets once they grow up because most people don't think cats are cute - only kittens. I knew several people who would only have kittens and as soon as they grew up they would take them to the dog pound - and adopt another kitten. Heartless. But that's what they did and was "normal" for them.

@WinterHaven I know what you mean. We kept the kitten. His name is Oliver and he is eight now. He is a great cat and has even donated blood to save countless other cats.
