Interesting, I fly an Airvan for a skydive outfit. It is fairly stable when the skydivers are exiting but you really have to anticipate the forces and the pitch during a mass exit. The trim is very low geared and takes a lot of turning. In the climb your right foot goes number keeping the ball in the middle. It needs a rudder trim. It could do with more power too.
But otherwise it's a great aeroplane to fly. Makes the pilot look good. That's important!
