How To Downgrade iPod Touch and iPhone to 2.2.1 from 3.0 ( mac / windows )!!!

I recently upgraded to the 3.0 firmware and jailbroke it and found tons of bugs so i downgraded back to 2.2.1 and made a video on it to help you guys out so you could do the same.

to get the 2.2.1 firmware (for iphone and ipod) :

**YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE FIRMWARE WITH SOMETHIHNG OTHER THAN SAFARI! PREFERABLY FIREFOX**

Steps:

1. Downgrade iTunes to 8.1
2. Turn the ipod/iphone off
3. Put it into DFU mode (recovery mode)
4. Alt (Option) click the retsore button
5. Choose firmware you want to restore to from where you saved it
6. Wait......
7. Check Settings to find version and verify tht you are downgraded
8. Your Done!
9. Now Jailbreak!:) (I Should have a video coming out on how to do it)

I got the 1600 error... But i have a Windows OS... Someone can tell me how the hell i can go back from 3.0 to 2.2.1 Dx...? I upgraded to the latest n Downgraded to 3.0... but i can't go back to 2.2.1 Dx...!!! Btw it's a 1st G. Ipod Touch... !!! Didn't work (I got the error 1600) so I went to the site in the description and did what it said and got error 20 so yeah.... None of this works anymore... Apple fixed it...
