NEEDFIRE ~ "Maggie Oh Maggie" ~ S.E. FL. Scottish Festival & Highland Games

The celtic rock band NEEDFIRE performs "Maggie Oh Maggie" with a haunting mix of didgeridoo, electric guitars, drums, and bodhran. Filmed live on Jan 9th, 2010: a bitter cold day in Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the 27th annual Southeast Florida Scottish Festival & Highland Games, hosted by the Scottish American Society of Southeast Florida (SASSF).

With John Cleghorn on guitar, Michael Purser on didgeridoo, Ed Walewski on bass guitar, and Matt Henthorn on drums.

Also featuring special musical guest "The Kilted Headless Highland Drummer"... no actually that is guest musician Davie "Ramone" Morrison of the Scottish band Albannach on the bodhran. From this unfortunate camera angle his head was always hiding behind that amplifed speaker. You can only glimpse his face here for a few moments and at the end when he comes over to shake hands. You can tell it's cold when even the Scotsman is wearing a knitted cap in South Florida.
