I heard this song today while I was eating at a local Wendy's restaurant. I hadn't heard it in years. I remember this song from the '70's, yet had no idea Captain and Tennille were the ones who sang this song.

Leave it to Mr. Trashcan to post a great song like "Lonely Night" aka "Angel Face". This was one of my faves from the Captain and Tennille in the 70's! It's no wonder why I subscribed to your channel long ago! Congrats to Daryl and Toni for being married for about 36 years! That's really good in the entertainment industry.

On this date in 1976 {Jan. 24th} 'Lonely Night {Angel Face}' entered the Billboard's Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at No. 3 and spent a total of 19 weeks in the Top 100!!!

So much great talent back then I love C&T one of their best songs brings back memories of being in the 10th grade!!such talent and her hair all the girls wanted to look like her back then not a bad thing at all :D

First heard this song on the radio on Spring Vacation in San Diego California at Mission Beach in early April 1976.
