  • What sort of bass guitar is that?, looks really nice!!! :D.

  • According to mark from the FB's it was an old semi accoustic Hofner belonging to his brother...

  • Webmistress, what about 'Muck It Out'. My favourite.

  • Sorry - we don't have a copy of it at the moment - will post it if we find one. x

  • I wonder if they would consider a reunion

  • I forgot to mention that Stan, Mark & Baz are now in The Great Outdoors - and released an album called What We Did In Our Holidays - if you liked the FB's then it's worth a listen.

  • Bought the 12'' of this at the time on the strength of hearing the single version on the radio. Load of b*llocks. The tune (ie all the verses and choruses) had been removed in favour of an early drum & bass experiment. Horrible. Didn't even have the decency to have the 7'' version on the flipside. I still love the proper version though.

  • I occassionaly listen to this song on youtube,a great song with such a feel-good factor. They would do well do release it ! Its a classic! Im sure it would out-do the dross we have at the moment !!

  • I was looking for "Apparently" since way back when it was first released and never saw that single in NY. Heard it first on The New Afternoon Show on WNYU back around maybe '83. I just now stumbled upon this video and was so happy to hear it again after so long. Thanks for the post. - DJ Captain Kurt.

  • I was number 8 in their fan club! Still fab even after all these years and I don't care what my children say about them!

  • I have been looking for this tune for ages and ages. It so takes me to a happier time!

  • so why, when i'm sat in Dubai (a very long way from Norwich) after 26 years of never thinking about this song, did i find myself singing it this morning & having to search for it on YouTube....?!?

It is still very, very good, thanks for the posting.

  • brilliant ! i still listen to my original cassette tape of - with these hands !

  • Phew Wow!A great song for getting over a split with your girlfriend.I loved this ditty, honest stuff.

  • Saw this band in the 80's at 'the porterhouse' Retford. God knows why but the bands name just stuck in my head and 20 years later I type it into youtube!
