For a mate of mine. Programmed a couple of new tonal combos, playing through a slimline telecaster with Duncan Designed humbuckers.

  • okay, I guess it's a matter of how much you can spend in time and money. my 350, which is no longer available- they have the 355, which is better, honestly- runs about $200, and has, to be blunt, more options. The VAMP3 is half the price, but is great for what comes with it. I have almost no experience with the VAMP recording software, but I know that, depending on what mixing software you use, it can take more work to get the best finished tones on a recording using the 350 (more)

  • I wanna buy one processor for live and studio recording. which one is good RP350 or VAMP3? Please help out

  • @khurramhassanmusic Live, either one will kick ass. You gotta learn the rig, of course, and make sure you've got a real working knowledge of your presets before going live. I find the 350/355 to be easy to work with. As for the VAMP3, its different but due to less options (amps, effects, preamps, etc) it's easier to use. So, I'd say the deciding factor is what I said at the beginning: How much time & money do you have? Either is worth it. If you want the most, go 355.

  • @armagedonaxle I'd just see about putting new speakers in, personally. The amp, as long as you're on a clean tone, should allow the 350's effects to come out. Unless you just don't like the amp, I wouldn't worry about replacing it. I used to have a ltd with emg's and it sounded fine going through my rig.

  • @iamsandman7 i use peavey stereo chorus 212 120 watt some marshall cab and a ltd v 50 with emg hz pick ups i probably just need a better amp and speakers like u said

  • @armagedonaxle Okay... what kind of amp are you using, and what guitar (s)? It could very well be your speakers- I've get celestrons in the half stack I'm playing through on the video

  • @iamsandman7 i try a bunch of different amps and what not with mine and i cant seem to get the punch and bite yours seems to have or if i get the bite and what not ill wind up with a lot of buzz and hum

  • @armagedonaxle I haven't found an amp it doesn't work well with. I've pushed it through my 400 watt peavey half stack, my 100 watt Marshall, a 40 watt Crate, a few Fender amps, even some 15 watt practice amps- a micro cube and an e-amp. The biggest difference in sound comes from the speakers in the amp you're playing through. The practice amps don't have high quality speakers so the sound quality isn't as good, but it's still good.

  • ive bin wondering wat kinds of amps work good with this pedal or any thing

  • @0maxxis0 get the rp500...has a looper patch that you can download and it is lightyears ahead of the rp350 in terms of tone control
